The Lemon Theory
✺ Who we are

We've been in both seats. We know exactly where it breaks down.

We've seen it from both sides. Founders running too much, trying to read signals from too many channels, unable to tell what's actually working. Agencies delivering in isolation — by the time the work arrives, the context has shifted.

TLT was built to close that gap. Founder-led, senior-only, and built around the idea that clarity is not optional — it's the job.

Founder overwhelmed by scattered channels on one side, a clear growth readout on the other — TLT bridges the two
✺ The founders

Two people. Two decades of patterns. One firm built on them.

Khadija Karachiwala

Artist · off the clock

Runs a popular watercolour course on Skillshare. Sells her paintings on Etsy.

Khadija Karachiwala

Co-Founder

“She has a spreadsheet for everything. And we mean everything.”

While other people read reports, she reads into them. With 12+ years across CRO, analytics, email, and SEM, sharpened by an MBA from MICA and a foundation at St. Xavier's, Kolkata, she's fluent in a language most people fear: data.

She led the conversion team at Builder.ai, drove all things marketing at Digital Avenues, and learned the media angle at The Media Ant. But here's the thing — she's also an artist. She believes data is beautiful, not for the numbers, but for what they reveal about human behaviour.

She's the quiet force who turns “that would be nice to know” into “oh my god, that changes everything.”

Pinaki Kotecha

Poet · off the clock

Published poet. Her collection Ink Echoes came out in 2017.

Pinaki Kotecha

Co-Founder

“Bold ideas — sometimes before the coffee kicks in.”

10+ years across content, social, and digital strategy & storytelling, backed by a Masters in Literature and an Executive Diploma from IIM-Calcutta, plus certifications in advertising, journalism, UX, and gamification. She has worked on campaigns for everything from global Fortune 500 B2B tech brands to scrappy startups that went big — at GenY Medium, Digital Avenues, and Zensciences.

She brings three things to everything: bold ideas, creative execution, and the unshakeable belief that great content is directional. She has managed full-service marketing and branding teams across all of it.

She's also an author and poet, and her collection Ink Echoes was published in 2017. Her core belief: creativity without strategy is just expensive decoration. So everything she touches has a purpose — to shift perception, spark action, drive real business results.

✺ Operating principles

Four things we actually believe.

This is what we hold ourselves to. If you're working with us and we miss one of these, tell us.

01

We say what's true.

Real numbers. Honest assessments. If something isn't working, we say it clearly — and without waiting to be asked.

02

We finish what we start.

Strategy doesn't stop at the deck. We stay in it through execution, and when something needs fixing, we fix it.

03

We think past the quarter.

Short-term numbers matter. So does the brand behind them. We hold both — and we'll tell you when chasing one is costing you the other.

04

We stay current.

We understand how platforms work right now — not how they worked in the last playbook. If the landscape has shifted, you'll hear it from us before you feel it in the numbers.
